It's been a long time coming but I'm finally around to starting a new reviews website beyond the old ISC site.

Here you will find some of my product reviews.  I test products that I buy and write reviews about some of them.  I like to tell people about good products and companies who support their products and customers as well as to warn people about bad products and bad service from companies who don't support their products and customers.

In the past I enjoyed writing product reviews but these days I don't really have time.  I just do what I can and that's all I can do.

Recently I've tested / played Far Cry 2 (review on here) Rainbow Six Vegas (yet to review).  I have Rainbow Six Vegas 2 which concludes the Rainbow Six Vegas series for the PC.  I tell you here and now at first I was very impressed with these games but the more I played the more I saw how the games could have been much better and were very sadly let down by their creators in game play options.  I will not recommend these games for this reason but when I can make time to write the reviews I will explain why.

In the past I have Far Cry, Ghost Recon 1 and 2 yet to review.  I will tell you now I will recommend these games and they do work on the 64 bit Vista computers.

I have written a review for X-Plane and must say it's the biggest piece of junk I've seen for software in a very long time.  My review is on Epinions.com.  I didn't want to waste a page on it here but will say it's nothing more than a flying seanery viewer and has a LOT of bugs.  It has no kind of airodynamics.  The trial game play given by the writer/creator is something like 5 min and that's not enough time to set up your controls.  When my F-22 flipped over on the ground and began sliding down the runway I contacted the creator of the flight sim and told him his game needed some serious help.  For which he called me several names told me to uninstall his software and never contact him again.  So that's what I did.  No he doens't have any support for his software and no he will not refund your money after you make the mistake of buying it.  If you want a flight sim get Microsoft Flight Simulator or Lock On.  They both have realistic game play and airodynamics that gives the feeling of a real airplane in flight.  Yes I am a pilot and I would know this first hand.

I'm actually playing Nancy Drew 4 which only runs on older OSs.  It runs on Windows XP but will not install or run on a Vista computer of any kind.  If someone knows how to make this happen please write and tell me.  If you have a review you would like to post on here send it to me and I will consider it.  Laura is playing one of the other Nancy Drew adventures on her laptop.  She played one for awhile and the next thing we knew she went out and bought 4 or 5 more.  I would say she likes the games.  My wife and I have two or three more on our new X4 Vista computer we are playing/testing.

If you have comments on games I have reviewed send it to me and I will consider putting it on the page for the appropriate game.  I also post these reviews on Epinions.com.
This is a cool preview / video trailer of a new Atari game to be released in the summer of 09.  Check it out.
