If anyone ever thought that producing a play was easy they
should follow this crew around.

When you go to a play, if all goes as intended you see what
the cast crew and director want you to see, never realizing
how much goes on behind the scenes. You may not know
just how many people are working hard to make a
production the best it can be for the viewing audience.
These few pictures were from resetting the stage
for the next showing of Charlie and the Chocolate
Factory.

You may feel you are not actor material but still
would like to be involved in some aspect of the
play. There are different jobs available that do
not involve acting but require other skills. Some
people build props for the plays and others move
those props around on stage during, before and
after the show.
Someone must write the play, someone needs
to direct it. Someone needs to point the lights
and be sure each one is working correctly and
someone must know exactly when to turn them
off and on. Someone must run the audio
system and play the music right on cue.

Let's not forget the artists who draw and paint
the props and backgrounds. This is a shot of
the top of the door from C.C.F.
