Lucifer, The Bright and Morning Star
He was like nothing the Goombah had ever seen before and his name was Lucifer, which translated basically means "Bright Star." His radiance shone like the sun. He towered above the population. The people fell upon their faces before him, as if they were dead. The Goombah watching this event moved back into their places, humbled before the sight of this fiery angel, and the power of their Creator.
Lucifer was like no angel ever created before him. He was programmed with the knowledge of all created things. He was programmed to be self aware, only similar to other archangels in that respect but he was new. He had features and options that made other angels quite jealous of him. He commanded the power and authority of the Creator Himself. He had purpose, he had intent, and he had the ability to make decisions on his own. He came with another angel who God designed for the purpose of interpretation. This angel's name was something like "Atan." I'm not sure there is a word in English that fully describes this angel. The name basically means "To correctly understand."
At fist the Goombah thought all their problems were behind them. They would turn over the complicated problems to Lucifer and let him deal with the people.
Lucifer Had a Mind of His Own
Lucifer had been sent to help the Goombah watch over the creation on Mars and Earth. He was to obey their commands, yet he had been given the ability to act on his own according to the information he had been programmed with, as well as the information he learned upon observing the problems to be dealt with. All the old methods were available to him as well as his options to apply new modified and more drastic methods to teach and control the people. Most of the people responded quite well to being bribed while others became suspicious of Lucifer's motivations. To put it bluntly, some of the more intelligent people became aware that Lucifer was pretending to play God with them.
"He thinks he is God," one said.
"He's subject to the Goombah. He has to do what they tell him. The Goombah are not as great as God and Lucifer is not as great as the Goombah," another yelled.
Upon the event of the forthcoming riot Lucifer became angered and in a burst of fire and lightning killed the leaders of the uprising, all of those who agreed with them and a considerable number of onlookers. All of the Goombah moved back to what they considered a safer distance. They had now seen what Lucifer was capable of. Many of the Goombah were so stunned and mortified they fled literally back to the arms of their Creator, some instantly and some took a few moments to consider the options before they joined those who had all ready departed this solar system.
When Lucifer turned toward those who survived they fell upon their faces in the dirt like they were dead. Never before had they seen such a display of power. Truly this Lucifer was god. At this point it made little difference, God was not there to save them and it became painfully clear the Goombah were no longer in charge. Now Lucifer consulted with Atan.
The Judging of Lucifer
The remaining Goombah retreated to a hidden place on Earth where they took counsel.
Originally there were many thousands of Goombah who watched over the creative process upon Mars and the Earth. Now there were only a thousand or so remaining to confront Lucifer and decide what should be done about him.
Before this time, the Goombah had made decisions as a democracy. They had voted upon their options and consulted the information the Creator had left with them. Now with fear of Lucifer and not knowing what else he might be capable of they appointed members from among their various groups to make the decision for them. This discussion among the Goombah took a great deal of time, a thousand or more years passed as they considered their options. You must understand the Goombah were very patient beings. They were accustomed to watching creation grow. A thousand years to them is like a day or year would be to us. While they were absent from Mars, Lucifer and those loyal to him, and those frightened into being loyal to him, had not been idle.
Lucifer's Throne

It was a solemn and fearful occasion as the 12 members of the council took their place before Lucifer's new throne.
There he stood glowing like the sun upon the flat top surface of a great pyramid. All the people of Mars gathered around the base of the pyramid. The council gazed at Lucifer and the structure and recognized its similarity to the monument the Creator had placed in the center of the Garden of Eden on Mars.
The council of 12 demanded that Lucifer relinquish his throne and return authority to the Goombah. Lucifer struck one of the council members dead with a bolt from his finger. The council moved back.
"Raise him up from the dead if you can and prove to these people that you have the authority of God?" Lucifer taunted.
This was a show of strength as Lucifer sought to impress the people who now worshipped him thinking he was God who had returned.
"No Goombah has ever been killed," one of the Council gasped. "We are not mortal beings. It is not possible for you to do this."
"Yet as you see I have the power to kill you. I can kill anyone here." Lucifer waved his hands out over the people. "Therefore I am your God."
The Goombah were powerful and insightful multi-dimensional beings. They had no need of heat, sleep, or physical food as did mortal creatures. On occasions they would revive the dead of the mortal realm, but none of their kind had ever died and no other being aside from God could take their life. Yet Lucifer had apparently done just that.
The Goombah council retreated to their transport vessel mortified taking with them the remains of their fallen comrade. If something was going to be done about Lucifer they were going to need more firepower than what they currently had.
Again they retreated to the safety of their hiding place on Earth to discuss what they should do but first they elected a council member to replace the one who was lost. Now there had been 13 council members counting the one who had been lost. The body of the one who had been killed was placed inside a suspinsion chamber within Orion.
The council then held hands and began to pray in the spirit. In doing this they sent out a call to their Creator to inform Him that Lucifer was out of control and they needed help in a serious way.
