Deer Acres Zoo is located in Hackett, AR. Take highway 10 West across the bridge and follow the signs back to the North on Jenson Road. It's GREAT fun for the entire family. Bring your camera, plan a picnic and come feed the animals. Select your favorite pictures and have us make you a mouse pad, shirt or tote bag starring you and your animal friends. A mouse pad like the one you see picture above cost $15, or select a single picture mouse pad for only $10. A 4 picture graphic on a mouse pad costs $13. You can have the same single image pressed onto a "T" shirt from children sizes up to adult XL for $13 or have the image pressed on a tote bag for the same price. Multiple image like the one you see above pressed onto a white "T" shirt or white tote bag please add $5. Update 7-15-2003. The last I heard the Zoo was closed because of illness. Try to call them anyway. If I get information I will post it here. As soon as I get their rate charges and days of operation I will post them on this page. Thank you. 4-10-2002 Update. People write me all the time for info about the Hacket Zoo. Alvin and his wife are wonderful people and they have a really interesting zoo. It's not just a little petting zoo either but they do have animals you can pet and feed. They have a lot of animals of many kinds. They have a concession stand and picnic area with play ground sets for the children. They sell shirts, stuffed toys and other items to help support their zoo. They invite groups and schools come to visit them. They even have some new Wallaroos, hope I spelled that right. They look like small kangaroos.
